Ingredients
1–2 tsp unflavored grass-fed gelatin powder
1 cup herbal tea or warm water (160-180°F)
1 tsp raw honey (optional)
1 dash turmeric or fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat your herbal tea or filtered water until it is hot but not boiling.
2. Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin powder slowly over the warm liquid while stirring continuously to prevent clumping.
3. Stir vigorously for 30-60 seconds until the gelatin is completely dissolved and smooth.
4. Add the optional lemon juice, turmeric, or raw honey while the liquid is still warm.
5. Drink warm 15-20 minutes before a meal, or chill in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours to set into a soft snack.
Notes
Storage: Chilled gelatin snacks can be stored in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Tip: Never pour aggressively boiling water directly over the gelatin powder, as it will denature the collagen proteins.
