Ingredients
2 tablespoons unflavored grass-fed beef gelatin
1/2 cup cold filtered water
1.5 cups hot brewed herbal tea (hibiscus or ginger)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Liquid stevia or monk fruit drops to taste (optional)
Instructions
1. Hydrate the gelatin matrix in cold water for 5 minutes.
2. Extract the herbal phytochemicals by brewing 1.5 cups of hot tea.
3. Pour hot liquid over the hydrated gelatin and whisk vigorously until dissolved.
4. Balance pH levels by stirring in lemon juice and natural sweetener.
5. Refrigerate in a glass container for at least 2 hours until the proteins set.
Notes
Storage: 7 days in the refrigerator in an airtight glass container.
